Kevin has been on his own personal health and fitness journey for over 25 years, with a goal to sit up front and ride shotgun alongside his clients’ as they journey to a healthier life. Kevin provides custom programming based on individual client tastes and needs, to empower them to safely build muscle, mobility, and strength. While working with all ages, Kevin has developed a niche focus in helping seniors grow strong to live more independently. Are you ready to embark on your fitness journey?
Whether it be high schoolers wanting an edge to their extra-curricular sports, or baby boomers looking to up their pickle ball game, Kevin delivers! How? By combining a variation of functional strength training, through tools like hybrid training, kettle bells, resistance bands, cross fit, olympic weight training, cardio and more. These enable his clients to experience increased stability and core activation, to start training with a solid foundation to build upon long-term.
An ISSA Certified Personal Trainer (International Sports Science Association), Kevin has a passion in continued fitness education, and often enlightens his clients along-the-way. This includes sharing insight from podcasts like “The National Academy of Sports Medicine Podcast” (NASM), and reading books like “Strength Training Over 40” (Michael Smith) and “Forever Strong” (Dr. Gabriel Lyon). Kevin is also a regular participant in 5Ks, 10Ks and half marathons, CrossFit, and fitness competitions like HYROX and “75Hard Mental Challenge” by Andy Frisela. “I often undergo these kinds of challenges with my clients, as partnership is key in making lifestyle changes. My goal is to work as hard as my clients do, so it’s a team effort. I also find it incredibly rewarding to see my clients reach their goals.”
In addition to his passion for physical activity, Kevin has an unrelenting passion for sweets, often rewarding himself with the likes of peanut butter, chocolate and Gummie Nerds (a 'pre-workout snack'). Other interests include hiking, trail biking, travel and hanging out with his 12-pound pup, “Bruce” (named after Bruce Wayne, Batman). Kevin also loves spending time with his son Kaleb, a professional video game programmer, and fiancé Kelly, both of whom enjoy travel. Kevin has ventured to Costa Rica, The Dominican, Iceland, St. Martin, Jamaica and the Canadian Rockies, and he and his family continue to tick destinations off the good ol' bucket list.
